Maizorb® Highlights

Maizorb® corncob grit is the most accurately screened and air-washed media in the marketplace. It has been the highest quality media and the best in its class for over 50 years. The processed corncob grit is organic, non-toxic and biodegradable.

Maizorb is both an absorbent and an abrasive.
Large quantities of corncob grit of various mesh sizes are being used for:

  • Absorbing oils, greases, and dirt
  • Barrel finishing and removal of burrs
  • Absorbing rinse waters remaining on electroplated pieces in tumbling dryers
  • Soft grit blasting for cleaning carbon, oil and products of corrosion from cylinders, pistons and other engine/electric motor parts.
  • Soft grit blasting of log homes resulting in the cleaning and refinishing of natural wood homes.

Absorbent—Non Toxic
is used as a carrier for vitamins, pharmaceuticals and flavors for animal feeds. It is an excellent dilutant enabling a small quality of vitamin, pharmaceutical or flavor to be blended.
Absorbent—Inert
is used as a carrier for pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. It absorbs the chemicals, dilutes the pesticide, herbicide or fertilizers so that the danger of burning a lawn is minimized, releases the chemicals when wet and conditions the soil.

Litter Cob
is a lab-quality, heat-treated, dust-free flushable animal litter. It controls the liquids and holds down the odors associated with caged animals.

40 or 50 lb. bags,
stretch wrapped and palletized,

Field Dry
is the most economical sports field absorbent available using 80% less absorbent with better results. It removes standing water, rakes into the soil promoting soil remediation, is non-toxic and biodegradable.
